Long Island Rescue Animals for Adoption
Forgotten Friends of Long Island proudly puts up for adoption rescue animals that are in need of a home. We are an animal rescue group that is completely dedicated to the rescue of companion animals. These rescue cats and dogs have been in municipal shelters for extended periods of their life and have been overlooked by both the general public and by rescues. Many of the cats and dogs in our care were homeless at one point and were sadly waiting to be euthanized. Forgotten Friends intervenes, when we can, to help these rescue animals live. With the ultimate goal of finding a loving home.
Helping Rescue Animals Across Long Island
Forgotten Friends is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We take in rescue animals from across Long Island and attempt to find new homes. However, since we are a non-profit, we do not have a paid staff. So we need volunteers and sponsorships. Every dollar we raise goes to the medical care and attention of the animals in our center. We proudly rehab them and get them ready for the rest of their life. Forgotten Friends of Long Island has been serving the community for years. We are always looking for a loving home on Long Island for any of the rescue animals in our care. Whether you are a dog person, a cat person, or love both equally, we have in care many different animals in need of a loving home. We have rescue animals up for adoption for people in both Suffolk County and Nassau County on Long Island, New York.
