URGENT PLEA!!! URGENT PLEA!!! URGENT PLEA!!! URGENT PLEA!!!

Dear Friends,

This past weekend we rescued 3 more dogs from our local shelters.  They each have their own special stories and have each been placed into loving foster homes.  If you would like to know more about any of these rescues, please contact Milena (516) 395-9676.

Bailey is a 1.5 year old Lab/Terrier mix who was found as a stray with a broken leg and severely emaciated.  He has since undergone surgery and had a metal rod and pins placed in his leg to help stabilize his limb while the fracture heals.  He is a VERY loving boy who has shown nothing but affection and appreciation during his ordeal!  As you can imagine, the procedure to repair Bailey's leg has proven to be quite costly.  We would appreciate any help from our supporters!  Even $1 will go a long way!

Zoey is an 8-10 year old Tibetan Terrier mix who was found as a stray.  She is gentle, loving and friendly, however, this precious girl is also blind.  She gets along great with dogs and wants nothing more than a warm bed, a gentle stroke and a place to call home.

Cooper is a 1 year old mini pit bull mix who was also found as a stray.  He is severely malnourished and was not doing well in the shelter environment.  He is slowly starting to be comfortable with walking on the leash and has since learned how to go up and down stairs.  He is a little lover who likes giving kisses and getting hugs.  He gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable around cats.  We have no doubt that he will make a great addition to a loving home!
