Nassau Animal Rescue Group

Forgotten Friends of Long Island is a non-profit animal rescue group for cats and dogs throughout Nassau County. We are proudly dedicated to the rescue of companion animals, such as cats and dogs. These are animals that have been in municipal shelters for an extended period of time and/or overlooked by both the general public and rescues. Sadly, these animals are homeless and wait patiently to be euthanized. We try to intervene whenever possible to rescue these animals, which are in need of immediate attention. Are you interested in adopting a cat or dog? Then please give us a call today. We will go over all of the requisite information in order to adopt an animal.

A Non-Profit Animal Rescue Group for Nassau County

We do not have a paid staff. Every dollar we raise goes directly to providing medical care, attention and rehabilitation for the animals in our care. We are able to do what we do due to the help of some generous sponsors. Many companies have helped us grow and succeed and we appreciate their support. Due to this help, we can continue to serve as a trusted Nassau County Animal Rescue Group. New sponsors are always welcome! And any donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated. We often have fundraisers to help keep us going, so please keep an eye out for any events by checking out our Facebook page.
