Nassau County Rescue Animals
Forgotten Friends of Long Island proudly puts up for adoption rescue animals that are in need of a home. People from across Nassau County file for adoptions for our rescue animals. We are an animal rescue group that is completely dedicated to the rescue of companion animals. These rescue cats and dogs have been in municipal shelters for extended periods of their life and have been overlooked by both the general public and by rescues. Many of the cats and dogs in our care were homeless at one point and were sadly waiting to be euthanized.
Nassau County Rescue Animals Up For Adoption
Forgotten Friends intervenes, whenever possible, to help these rescue animals live and find a home of happiness. We look to place them in loving and caring homes throughout Nassau and Suffolk County. So please, do not hesitate to reach out and learn more about our lovable rescue animals.
We are a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization. So we have no paid staff and count on donations and sponsorships to raise money. Every dollar we raise is used to provide quality medical attention for all of the animals in our care. We are dedicated to finding homes in Nassau County for all of the rescue animals in our care. There are volunteer opportunities at our rescue center. Or you can help out at one of our fundraising events.
