Forgotten Friends of Long Island is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization. However, we have no paid staff and every dollar we raise is then used to provide quality medical attention and rehabilitation for the cats that are in our care. We are dedicated to the rescue of companion animals left in municipal shelters for an extended period of time or are overlooked by both the general public and other rescue groups.
