Forgotten Friends of Long Island is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization. We dedicate our time to the rescue of companion animals left in municipal shelters for an extended period of time. Ones overlooked by both the general public and other rescue groups. The rescue cats in our care are ready for adoption into a loving home.
Forgotten Friends has no paid staff. We use every dollar we raise to provide quality medical attention and rehabilitation for the rescue animals in our care. As for our cat adoption, we look to place these sweet animals into a loving and caring home. Homes across Nassau County and Suffolk County come to us to get a wonderful rescue cat to bring into their home.
