Forgotten Friends of Long Island is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of companion animals left in municipal shelters for an extended period of time, overlooked by both the general public and other rescue groups.
Forgotten Friends has no paid staff.  Every dollar raised is used to provide quality medical attention and rehabilitation for the dogs and cats in our care.
