Dear Friends of Forgotten Friends,
Here he is….our boy LINUS…now in foster care after surviving a horrific car accident and following extensive surgery to repair his broken legs and pelvis:
We are so proud of the progress he has made. We are indebted to all the wonderful surgeons and vet techs at the New York Veterinary Specialists in Farmingdale for providing Linus with the best possible medical treatment. The vets said Linus’ injuries were among the worst they had ever seen. Our appreciation goes to the police officer who rushed Linus to the ER after being hit by two cars so his life could be saved. . A special thanks to Judy, one of our Dog Coordinators who is now fostering Linus and who will help him on his road to recovery.
To help us continue our mission of helping dogs and cats like Linus, and to celebrate our LOVE for animals, please join us on Friday, February 10th from 8-10PM at our PAWS AND PINS Bowling Event at Farmingdale Lanes in Plainview.
