We will be rescuing many needy cats and kittens from our municipal shelters here on Long Island and provide them with the very best care - both medically and emotionally. Our new feline friends will get the vet care they so desperately need and be placed in a foster homes to recover from their previous experiences. Once they have adjusted to their new world, they will be ready for adoption.

Carissa I was found by FFLI as a stray. I had been previously spayed through the ASPCA van and released back on the streets. FFLI has rescued me and given me a warm place to hang out until my forever family adopts me. I am partially blind, but I am currently under the care of an ophthamologist who is trying to get me sight back. All of my vet bills for my disability will be paid by FFLI. |

Holly I am in need of a loving family and forever home. I would be much happier living in a home without any other pets. Dogs and other kitties scare me. I can be very sweet and loving, but do have my cranky moments. I am still a little untrusting of people, but if I am given a loving home, I'm sure I will prove that I can be a great companion. Right now I am living with a foster family and working on my trust issues. I am doing great. Sit down on the couch and I'll cuddle with you for a little while. |

Antoinette I am 8 years old and a very smart kitty. My owner dumped me on the street. I was rescued by FFLI after attempting to go into someone's house during a snow storm. I said I was smart! Do you blame me, it was cold outside!! I am very quiet and sweet. I am also very special. I am polydactyl. That means I have an extra digit on both my front paws. Kinda cool.
